A first look at TopazLabs Glow Plugin

Electrify

TopazLabs.com have released a new plugin called Glow.  Being a user of some of their other plugins, especially Denoise & Adjust, I thought I would give it a quick play this evening.   I tried it on a couple wildlife shots without any really pleasing effect, however this shot of trees in winter sunlight produced some nice results.

This is the original starting image.

The following images are all just straight from some of the presets provided by the plugin, that I liked.  There are lots more, some quite extreme effects, which probably work well for different types of shot.  I did not bother to use any of the adjustment sliders for these images, which you can changed the effect to suit your own tastes.

Here then are the effects that I liked.

For a first play this plugin is nice to use.  However, I think that it will not get as much use personally as I do of Adjust.
