Amongst the Trees

Failing to find inspiration on a dull October day at Anderwood, New Forest – I turned to fiddle with my Canon 5D mark iV.  There I noticed it could shoot in a multi-exposure mode ( with several settings and number of exposures ).  It bought back memories of doing this on my old film camera.  So with nothing normal inspiring me, I had a play.  The results are quite surreal

Anderwood Autumn 1 (Restyle : MaizedOwl & Glow (Multiplied and Screened) & Simplify

After taking some Autumn Landscapes images at Anderwood in the New Forest last weekend, I used some of my Topaz Labs plugins to create different looks to the original photographs. I did this to Create new looks to the images. Brighten things up as the weather was overcast and dull. Here are 3 different images, processed with various Topaz Plugins, along with the original image in each case for comparison.

Anderwood is a Forestry Commission Car Park in the New Forest, just off the A35 near Lyndhurst, Hampshire. The car park is of reasonable size off a short gravel track. There are bookable barbeque facilities there – so can occasionally be busy. Anderwood Colour Infrared

With the beginning of November, and a reasonable day – a stroll around the New Forest’s Anderwood Site is a pleasant walk.  Taking along a converted Digital Infrared Camera added to the fun.  The Cameras filter as mentioned before is a Canon 20D with an Enhanced Colour Infrared Filter (equivalent to 665nm Filter). The trees and foliage provided interesting and varied scenary, with the leaves reflecting some of the light
