British Wildlife Centre

The British Wildlife Centre advertises that it has the finest collection of native wildlife in Britain, with over forty different native species from tiny harvest mice to red deer. It offers good photo opportunities of the wildlife and interesting talks from the keepers at regular intervals during the day.

The site is not large and offers good accessibility, and reasonable facilities including a coffee shop that sells selected food & drinks. There is a car park which is free and has disabled spaces.

It is worth noting though that it is not open to the public all year round, it opens every weekend & public holiday of the year, (excl. 25/26 Dec) and daily during state school holidays. However groups may book a visit when the site is closed to the public and benefit from a personalised guided tour.
